"I wanted to paint a portrait of a woman whose presence exudes freedom. I used lighter colours for my background to convey the nude body. She is a woman who breathes unwavering confidence embracing the imperfections of her body. The fragrance is bold in notes which very much compliments my style of painting. It was important to convey the lack of confidence she once had, fast forward to present, the tears also represent joy in her growth. I named this piece ‘Undraped’ as there is an authenticity in not being reliant on attire, a sense of relief for the body to breathe. She wore ‘Nudizm’ by KAEÇEN."
