"To create is to reveal. It’s a way of communicating our most authentic selves. ‘Excavate me’ is a portal into my visceral and somatic reaction to the scent, Nudizm. Like my other works, it exposes our collective need for ritual, symbol, repetition...an endless cycle of doing and undoing, mirrored in the action and process of making the work, as well as the marks and materials used to make the work itself.
